Too Dark Park
Tonight was the final time I’m ever going to see Skinny Puppy live. Holy fucking fuck did they deliver. This was my 5th time seeing them. And oh my god, I have never felt such a delivery and such a connection to their “story” of the tour. They managed to touch on all topical things while playing songs on from the 1980’s and weaving an entirely new story together. Totally worth it.
I had an opportunity to be in the pit with my son and that was pretty amazing. I was surrounded by people I have known for 20+ years singing songs I’ve heard 1,000+ times. A few drinks and some bouncing around really cleared out my soul tonight.
